A few weekends’ ago, Kid Critic visited the 67 year old Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes near Fenway Park in Boston.
When you first walk into the entertainment complex, your eyes are overwhelmed when you see sparkles, glitter, colorful lights and shining glows fills yourself with excitement and a welcoming gesture. The posh bowling lanes are unique and their bowling balls have three holes in them. For kids, the balls may be hard to lift and fit their fingers into but I chose the lightest ball size, 7. They have flat-screen TVs at each bowling lane to keep score automatically and show you tips, it will also show you a guideline for your next ball of which pins to aim at. It is a hotspot at night for partying and it boasts a standard bowling alley. They renovated the entertainment complex full of TVs recently which is now a place for socializing. Prices can be expensive but for a great experience and lots of fun, it is worth it. Bowling costs $7 a game and a $3 shoe rental but it is a high-end place. I recommend Lucky Strike to anyone looking for an awesome place to bowl, meet new people and enjoy a great time. There are also many other activities running at the entertainment complex including a pool table and more. Lucky Strike is also the home of Jillian’s Boston, a famous nightlife spot. Lucky Strike’s website is http://www.bowlluckystrike.com.
