I like to read, and enjoy many books. Reading, to me is a whole different world, when I open a book I feel I am visiting a new world. To many others, reading is hard and can be a challenge. For example, like Hank Zipzer. He has dyslexia, a learning disability which includes lack of reading, spelling and writing. For Hank, he mainly struggles with spelling and reading. Hank Zipzer books show how Hank goes through life with a learning disability. It gets frustrating for him and others do not understand it, which adds problems to his life. Hank Zipzer books are full of humor and laughter. Hank experiences many day-to-day happenings and each book has a wide topic. As I have been reading his books for a while, every book is new and combined with fun. Whether, you read his first book or his last book, each book is great. Out of his 14 books, so far, I have read 10 Zipzer books. They are written by Henry Winkler which you may know him as the actor who plays the role, Fonz, on the long-running series Happy Days. Henry Winkler combines his life into the Hank Zipzer books which is also a "life story" as many of the parts and things included in the books are true. He and Lin likes to write because it makes them laugh. Lin Oliver also helps write and illustrate the Zipzer books. I am currently reading A Tale of Two Tails, the newest addition to the Hank Zipzer book collection, Book #15. The school introduces, a school mascot contest. Hank becomes interested in the contest and decides to enter his dog, Cheerio in the competition. Training isn't as easy when Cheerio does not cooperate and follow along. You can learn more about Hank Zipzer books by visiting their website at www.hankzipzer.com or pick up a Hank Zipzer book today at your local bookstore or online.
